1959 Gibson ES-330 Sunburst

This Gibson ES-330 was made in the USA in 1959, the first year for this model. It shows play wear but is in excellent playing condition. The guitar has a stress crack that runs down the center of the neck from the nut to the 6th fret. This was likely the result of someone who didn't know what they were doing over-tightenting the truss rod. The crack is repaired and just looks like a long scratch. There is no other structural damage. The guitar has a large profile neck typical of 1959 that is a joy to play and the truss rod works fine. The original P-90 pickups sound incredible. The pots, tailpiece, pickguard, and truss rod cover are original as well. The knobs, bridge and tuners are changed parts. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store and is in excellent playing/sounding example. It comes with a non original hard case.
