This Gibson Custom Shop '67 Reissue Flying V was made in the USA in circa 2010. Saying this one has been heavily modified might be an understatement so please review the description and pictures carefully and message with questions. These Custom Shop 67 RI models are very high end Flying V reissues but this one is definitely now a player grade guitar.
To start with the the whole electronic assembly including the pickups, pickguard and pots have all been changed out. The pickups are a Duncan SH2N neck pickup and '78 model bridge pickup. The pickguard is changed to a stripped down single knob and pickup selector switch. The guitar also suffered a splined headstock break that and the finish on the back of the headstock has been touched up. The guitar comes with the original Custom Shop COA and an oversized non original hardshell case. The guitar has been professionally set up and weighs 6 LBS & 6.5 ounces.
