This Limited Edited Hamer Vector Korina was made in the USA in 1997. This guitar is a very faithful recreation of the famed original 1950's Korina Flying V guitars. This was part of a limited edition batch of 72 guitars and this particular one was number 27 of that batch made in 1997. These guitars are revered by collectors and players alike for being as close to a late 50's Flying V as possible without the million dollar price tag. The guitar features a lovely Korina neck and body wood construction that weighs 7 LBS & 12 ounces. The Pickups are the original including the Seymour Duncan JBL Bridge and 59NL Neck pickups however the neck pickup has been rewound and the pots and switch have also been changed . The pickguard is also likely changed. The guitar shows signs of playing and age with some nicks and dings, most of which found down by the input jack horn but overall the guitar is in fantastic shape and has a wonderful patina. The guitar comes as shown with the original Hamer case but unfortunately the COA went missing long ago.
