1973-1974 Fender Telecaster Custom Black Refin "Longhorn Skull"

This badass player grade Fender Telecaster Custom was made in the USA in 1973-1974. The guitar is a body only refin with a cool Texas Longhorn Skull carved right into the body. Most of the parts on this one have been changed so this is definitely a player grade guitar. The pickups are Duncan's and the pots are changed. The bridge is a Fender 6 saddle bridge from the late 1970's and the pickguard and knobs are changed. The finish on the neck is original but shows heavy cosmetic wear and the neck has the original Fender F tuners. The frets are original but are quite worn and leveled flat and while the guitar is currently playing well it will need a refret sooner than later. The guitar shows some really heavy wear and the finish on the back is significantly worn away. The is some additional routing under the pickguard to accommodate the 3 way switch location. The guitar weighs 7 LBS and 6 ounces and comes with a non orignal hardshell case. Please check out the pictures and message with questions.
