1968 Fender Telecaster Thinline 2 HB's Natural

This Fender Telecaster Thinline was made in the USA in 1968 - the first year for this model. Although it shows heavy wear and modifications this is a special guitar that plays and sounds incredible. It has the original maple cap neck and the finish is original on the body and neck, although it has largely worn off the fretboard and the guitar shows heavy play wear and finish checking. A previous owner loaded this one with a pair of Gibson humbuckers that sound incredible. The guitar weighs just 6 pounds 4 ounces and is a party all around. Aside from the pickups and tuners the other parts appear original. There is also a repaired crack by the f-hole you can see in the pictures. The guitar has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. It comes with a non original hard case.
