This is a one of kind MCI Guitorgan Prototype from the late 1960's. This one has been in the store collection for many years. We've seen various MCI Guitorgans over the years but never one in this body shape and style. We got the Guitorgan with no pedal and the late mad genius Eugene Glebas built a custom pedal to use the organ effects. These are wild instruments with each fret wired as a pickup and allows a light left-hand touch to activate the organ sound. They also have various push buttons to add sustained sounds on the pickguard as well as one of the bass side of the headstock. You can also blend the natural electric guitar tone with the organ effects or play the guitar without the organ sounds.
As best we can tell the Guitorgan is functioning more or less properly but this has so many different switches and extremely complicated wiring that it's difficult to test every switch and button on the guitar. One of the sliders tips for the 16' organ sound is also missing. Because of the electronic complexity of the instrument we are selling this one AS-IS. The guitar comes with the original case as pictured as well as the custom made pedal and midi style cable to connect the guitar to the pedal. Please check out the pictures and message with questions.
