This Gibson ES-345 was made in the USA in 1967. It has an original Sparkling Burgundy finish that has faded a gorgeous burnt orange / gold color. The back of the headstock has been refinished and the serial number was restamped. We assume this was done as part of a headstock repair, however there is no visible break or crack or other evidence of a repair aside from the finish. The guitar has been modified to have a stop tailpiece. The electronics have also been modified. The guitar has been converted to mono and but the varitone still works. The pickups are changed to Duncan Antiquities. The pots are original and date to 1967. At one point the guitar had two mini toggle switched added but they have been removed the holes filled. The bridge, tuners, and knobs are changed. The guitar has been refretted. All in all, this is a great playing and sounding guitar. It has been pro-setup, weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces, and is a fantastic player. It comes with the original case in the pictures.
