1965 Gibson Firebird III Natural Refin Stripped

This Gibson Firebird was made in the USA in 1965. It is completely player grade - mostly changed parts and an old repaired headstock. The guitar has been refinished natural. Aside from the wood, the only original parts are 3 of the 4 pots, and the truss rod cover that says Gibson. The headstock crack looks minor and the repair is solid. The front of the headstock has an added veneer like a reverse version firebird. The pickups are great sounding Duncan antiquities. This guitar weighs only 6 pounds 10 ounces and is a screamer. Serial# is intact. It has been pro-setup in our store, and despite the mods, this is an awesome guitar. It comes with a non original hard case.
