1962 Gibson EB-6 Cherry Rare Single Pickup

This Gibson EB-6 was made in the USA in 1962. The original design of the EB-6 was essentially a EB-2 thinline with a single PAF pickup. In 1962 the model transitioned to have an SG body style and 2 PAF or Patent sticker pickups. This is the only example we have seen of a single pickup EB-6 was an SG body. It must be an early transitional instrument. The pickup is a PAF that sounds incredible. The bass shows play wear but no structural damage. The finish is original. All of the parts are original except for the switch, and tone cap. The bass has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. It comes with a non original hard case.
