This Fender Stratocaster was made in the USA in 1962. It is an awesome playing and sounding guitar that has been refinished a red color half way between fiesta and dakota, and whoever did it gave it a matching headstock as well. The neck and middle pickup are original, but the bridge has been changed to a Duncan Antiquity. The pots are original and date to the 42nd week of 1962. Neck date is October 62. The tuners and frets are also original. All of the plastic parts appear to be newer high quality aged repro parts. The bridge also is newer. The guitar was refinished a long time ago and it has lots of nice natural wear in additional to normal dings, dents, and scratches. There is also a vertical stress crack in the headstock that has been repaired. The guitar has been pro-setup in our shop and it is in excellent playing condition. It comes with a non original case.
