This Maestro Reverb Echo model GA-1RT was made by Gibson in 1961. This is one the cleanest examples of this model we have come across. The Maestro GA-1RT Reverb Echo was designed to add Reverb-Echo to a separate 2nd amplifier. The amp has alligator clips that attach to the speaker of a 2nd amp and it sends the Reverb & Echo to the 2nd amp. It's a very cool and original sound effect that was dreamed up in the 1960's. You can also use the amp on it's own and it's a cool quite little tube amp with tremolo but the Reverb & Echo only work with 2nd amp set up and is how the amp was designed to be used. This one is super clean and comes as pictured with the original tan canvas cover. The original foot-switch is in great shape. A new 3 prong power cable was installed and the electrolytic caps have been replaced. The speaker, reverb tank and transformers are original. There is some scuffs on the face plate but overall the amp is in excellent clean condition.
