This Gibson Les Paul Standard was made in the USA in 1956. It has been refinished except for the back of the headstock so the original serial# is intact. The refinish job is a combination of incredibly unprofessional and beautiful nonetheless. Most of the parts are original including the pickups, tuners, bridge, and plastic parts. The tailpiece appears to be changed, and the pots are changed and date to 1969. Also the jack plate is not original. There is lots of play wear, as the refinish was clearly done decades ago, but there are no breaks, repairs, or other structural damage. The guitar weighs 8 pounds and 6 ounces. The frets are original and low, but the guitar plays well, with only slight buzziness in a few positions. It has been pro-setup in our store, and comes with the original case in the pictures.
