This Fender Stratocaster was made in the USA in 1956. A long time ago a previous owner did an interesting thing: they put a rosewood fingerboard on the neck, and added maple binding to boot. While we would never recommend this, what's done is done, and the guitar does have some innate DIY credibility as a result. The body was refinished sunburst a long time ago as well, and the finish work is fairly high quality. The pickups are original and sound excellent. The bridge, neckplate, and tuners are also original. The plastic parts are high quality repro parts that look correct. The pots and switch are newer. It weighs 7 pounds 11.5 ounces. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store and it plays great and sounds very good as well.
