1956 Fender Precision Bass Red Sparkle Pinwheel Refin

This Fender Precision Bass was made in the USA in 1956. Early on the body was finished red sparkle with a pinwheel psychedelic motif that looks incredible. This is clearly one of the late 50's early 60's hot-rod finishes that were typically done in California body shops. While not a factory Fender finish, it is an authentic and high quality vintage sparkle finish. The neck has clear overspray over the original finish. The parts are all original except for the jack cup and a couple internal wires. The original pickup sounds terrific. It has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. It comes with the case in the pictures which appears to be an original Fender "export" case from the 60's, so not original to the bass but a very cool case.
