1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Renecked

This interesting Gibson Les Paul was made in the USA in 1953. It was sent back to Gibson in the early 70's and got a new neck and was refinished. Presumably the original neck cracked and the owner decided to have it replaced. Aside from the neck, all the parts are original including the no-line tuners, P-90 pickups, pots dated 1953, etc.. When the work was performed the original "shallow" neck angle was left alone so this one remains 1953 factory specs. It weighs 9 pounds 7 ounces and is in excellent playing condition. It has been pro-setup in our store and comes with the original case in the pictures.
