1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Refin

This Gibson Les Paul was made in the USA in 1953. It was refinished by Gord Miller in a beautiful "all gold" finish some time ago. Prior the the refin the neck was reset so that the guitar has a great neck angle and low action(1952 and 1953 Les Pauls tend to have a shallow neck angle making low action difficult). Also prior to the refin there was a headstock repair - we can't really tell what happened because the repair is under the finish and happened long before we acquired the guitar. The original pickups are intact and sound incredible. The tuners, bridge, pickguard and knobs are also all original. The pots have been changed. The guitar weighs 7 pounds 15 ounces. It has been pro-setup in our store and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original case.
