This vintage Fender Champion Lap Steel was made in 1952 or 1953. The Lap Steel has super rare Blue-pearloid MOTS (Mother of Toilet Seat) finish that has faded to a blueish grey color. The instrument is all original except for the tuner button tips have been replaced but the pickup and pots are original. The pot dates are covered with the original solder. The lap steel is in very good condition for it's age. There are some stickers on the fretboard but overall the instrument is in excellent overall shape. The lap steel comes as pictured with the orignal soft shell case.
