1940's Vega C-76 Archtop Natural

This is a very rare and ornate Vega C-76 that was made in the USA in the early 1940's. It is a large bodied archtop with fancy inlays on the neck and headstock. We believe this was originally a fully acoustic guitar that was modified for electric with an original 1950's DeArmond dynasonic pickup that sounds terrific. The finish is mostly original with the exception being the back of the neck which has been oversprayed. The tuners are also changed and the binding on the neck has been replaced and some of the inlays on the headstock are missing or changed. The guitar has absolutely stunning neck inlays. There general cosmetic wear such as nicks, dings and scratches and two repaired top cracks by the knobs and F-hole. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. It comes with a non original hard case.
