1910's George Bauer Monogram B Acoustic Parlor Guitar Natural

This George Bauer Monogram B acoustic parlor guitar was made around circa 1910 at the turn of the Century. The guitar is a beautiful playing and sounding instrument that has clearly stood the test of time and is in very good overall condition for it's age. The guitar is stamped Monogram B on the back of the headstock. The guitar is similar in size to a 0/00 size acoustic guitar and has a 13 & 3/4" lower bout. The is strung with silk and steel strings and sounds lovely. The guitar has been well maintained over the years. The bridge has been changed and the bridge plate appears to have been reinforced. The guitar has also been refretted. The string height at the 12th fret low E string is 4/32nds which is a touch on the higher side but with the softer silk and steel strings it plays very smoothly and easily and is particularly good for finger picking. The guitar has one repaired top crack but considering the age of the guitar it's in very good overall condition. The guitar comes with a non original case.
